Woohoo!
So excited! They have found me a host family for my first seven weeks. I am with a family that has two children both in their twenties. I will be there for seven weeks, but I am looking forward to e-mailing them. I will be spending my days at the did- deutsch institut Munchen.

Pre-Orientation Info

Tickets have been purchased and soon it will be time to depart. We got more info about the orientation but nothing noteworthy. Some have already received there permanent home info, but hopefully I will know that soon.

Anyone know where to purchase a german sweatshirt? Yes? No? Well anyway... I have bought the plane tickets to my pre-departure orientation in Washington D.C. Super Excited. I am going to need some good books to read on the plane trips, suggestions?

Luggage

Well the luggage has been bought and this trip feels like a dream still, but with every purchase or e-mail that I get it is starting to become more of a reality. If anyone is from Germany or has traveled there what are some key items that I should bring?

Placement

Hey Guys,
Well the paperwork has been sent in and they are starting to find me a host family! The process feels so long but I only have a couple more months. They will be sending me more stuff which means more updates for you guys! I also get to start to meet people who will be with me this next year.
